Interview with Clara, Leader of Tribe BORR 431

With 15 days to go before the KvK officially ends, 431 is already celebrating victory against the feared 424. Today we speak with Clara, leader of the tribe BORR, to get a closer look at how decision-making and leadership worked during the battle and, above all, who is behind this great strategist.

STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP

📓 Odin: Clara, 431 has come out victorious in this KvK against 424. What do you think was the most decisive decision that tipped the balance in our favor?
👑 Clara: The main focus is on pre-battle mobilization, getting more players involved in the fight, and ensuring that the accounts of our key players remain online 24/7.

📓 Odin: What was the planning and coordination process like with your R4 Jarls before the KvK started? Was the plan followed or did you have to adapt along the way?
👑 Clara: Our R4 has a clear division of labor. For instance, the construction leader had already made the construction plan before KvK, and the bank and crystal had also formulated the distribution policies in advance. We have four commanders taking turns, covering all time zones. However, the battlefield situation is ever-changing, and we make adjustments according to the actual situation.

📓 Odin: During the most critical moments, was there any play or move that made you think “we’ve got this”?
👑 Clara: In fact, I won’t consider us 100% victorious until we take over the central area.

📓 Odin: How did you manage the kingdom's motivation to keep us united and active during these intense days?
👑 Clara: I’m only responsible for leading the charge. As for maintaining unity, it’s the result of the joint efforts of all R4 members and all players.

📓 Odin: We know there was pressure, strong rivals and tough decisions... Was there any moment when you doubted the outcome?
👑 Clara: To be honest, it was only during KvK1 that I felt extremely stressed. During KvK1, there were many moments when I thought we would lose. But I believe KvK4 will be more challenging.

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE THRONE

📓 Odin: Behind every great leader, there is a person. Who is Clara outside the game? How do you balance your personal life with the responsibility of leading a tribe?
👑 Clara: I think I’m like most people. Besides playing games, there are many other things to do, such as parties, travels and so on. The tribe is jointly led by the members of the R4 group, and there are also many enthusiastic players helping me solve problems, so the game hardly affects my personal life. I’m extremely grateful to them.

📓 Odin: What motivated you to take on the leadership of BORR and what has been the most difficult part of the journey?
👑 Clara: At first, it was just because I thought the crown looked nice, hahaha, no other reason. But the actual leadership of BORR is shared by the members of the R4 team, and everyone has their own responsibilities, so it’s not difficult for me.

📓 Odin: If you had to describe your tribe in three words, what would they be?
👑 Clara: Internationalization, friendly, cucumber.

📓 Odin: Is there a funny or emotional anecdote that has stuck with you during this KvK?
👑 Clara: The most interesting thing is that sometimes I don’t really want to attack my opponents, but they still run away when they see me.

📓 Odin: What message would you give to all the chiefs who fought in this KvK with passion, even though not all of them came out victorious?
👑 Clara: Friendship comes first, competition second. Your current rival might just be your best friend in the future!

📓 Odin: What would you say to new players who dream of leading their own clan someday?
👑 Clara: Spend more money.
